New comedy show “Inside Out, Upside Down” for Sydney Fringe Comedy Festival explores the conflict between different facets of a neurodivergent person’s brain.
On the one hand there’s the optimistic brain-part ‘Ms Peppy’ who thinks she thinks like an ordinary human, does all the tasks she sets out to do in the planned timeframe, only makes decisions after carefully thinking through the options, yadda, yadda…
Then there’s the inner wowser, who sees that Ms Peppy is totes delulu, that she’s hopelessly disorganised, constantly forgets things, spends too long on other things, does things on impulse and leaves unpleasant tasks to be done…er, never.
But working together, what could they achieve? Not only in their own life, but in tackling the big issues of life in the current day. It’s all about perception. Using neurodivergent, upside down thinking, maybe they can set a few things straight
